Day 17: Master Bath Reveal

We’ve cleaned out the bathroom supplies so many times, but there was still more to remove. After all, lotions and creams expire after time, and sponges decay.

I was so gung-ho about this project that I dove right in and then remembered to go grab the camera to document the process. So, under the cabinet looked a whole lot worse originally, but here’s the before shot I managed to snag:

In the middle of taking things out of the cabinet, I sorted them by type of item and use. The piles began to look like this …

Day 16: Bathroom Shower Curtain – After

This post is going to be short and sweet. I ran out of time to write a lengthy blog post  (I was sorting a cabinet and cleaning our master bathroom and got a little carried away.) However, I will leave you with this sneak peak at the bathroom overhaul I did! See the before picture here, but for now, here’s the after:

You’ll notice the little table is gone. After sorting out the cabinet below the sink I realized I didn’t need it there, so I have plans to use it elsewhere.

Day 14: Bathroom Shopping Trip

The weather man is calling for snow again. I really have a hard time comprehending how much snow we’ve had in the past month or so here in Nashville. January through March is always cold and there is usually a freeze, but this has been extraordinary.

In about thirty minutes from writing this on Tuesday night for today’s post, we’re supposed to get up to six inches of snow. Most of the time this means the neighborhood grocery stores are filled with people out to buy milk and eggs and bread, but Daniel and I headed to Target and picked up something a little more lasting … those acrylic bathroom drawer organizers I’ve had my eye on and a new shower liner for the new shower curtain that arrived today!

Day 2: Her Bathroom Drawer

This blog is called Behind Closed Drawers. So why does this post bring a smidge of fear into my heart?

Because it is up close and personal. This is the drawer I use (almost) every day and the first place I stash something in the bathroom that I don’t want cluttering up the countertop. In other words, it ends up cluttering the drawer, instead, and I can’t find a single blessed thing. Like my nail file–always M.I.A.

I’m going to jump right in before I chicken out. Here’s the before:

It took about 15 minutes, but this fix wasn’t too complicated. I just asked myself some questions to make my sorting choices. Read more after the jump!
